Do Not Call List – Add Me

Are you constantly harassed by telemarketers, scammers, and other 800 numbers you don’t recognize? Every person should add themselves into the National Do Not Call List. Doing this is a great head start to cutting down the number of random and annoying phone calls about things you have no interest in hearing about.

First Step – Call The DNC Registry

The first step (and possibly only) is to call the DNC Registry and register your phone number. You can dial the following number, or if you’re already on your cell phone just click this: 1-888-382-1222.

The steps after you dial are pretty straightforward. First, you will just have to confirm your language (1 for English, 2 for Spanish). After that, simply follow the prompt and then enter the phone number you wish to have added to the do-not-call list.

Another way to make sure you’re not called by scammers is by visiting the DoNotCall.gov website. The steps are easy to follow, but you must enter the phone number you wish to block as well as you e-mail address. Once the information is entered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from register@donotcall.gov.. Click the link in the e-mail to confirm that you want to block the number, and it’s as easy as that!
